A Case Study

Hello reader,

I decided to include a real case study that can help you understand what are the consequences of an urban disaster in a specific state. Haiti might never be the same, but we must think of the 2010 earthquake and disaster as a lesson to be learned from. Urban Disasters cannot be dealt with in the same manner in every single state around the world. There is a need to move from mitigation to preventive preparation. There is a need to aid the states that have been affected while maintaining strategies that can move towards self development and not dependency on international organizations or other states. There is a need for change in the humanitarian and development fields.
